Privacy policy

Version of [ВПИШИ: effective date — after a lawyer has read it]

We sell solar equipment, and we use your data only as far as needed to answer your request and fulfil your order. Here it is without the legal fog: what we know about you, why, who we have to pass it to, and how to get it all removed if you change your mind.

01Who processes the data

The data you leave on this site is processed by the seller: [ВПИШИ: full legal name of the seller company or sole trader], tax ID (EDRPOU or RNOKPP) [ВПИШИ: EDRPOU or RNOKPP code]. In this text “we” and “the seller” mean exactly that business.

The site runs on the domain [ВПИШИ: main domain of the site].

The Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” of 1 June 2010 No. 2297-VI (the “Law”) calls the owner of such data the “controller”.

02What data we collect

Only what you type into a form and what your browser sends along with your request.

  • Your name and phone number. Without them we cannot call you back.
  • A comment, if you wrote one.
  • On the forms of product pages, also Telegram, city and a delivery method you prefer (Nova Poshta, pickup in Kyiv, or “let’s discuss”).
  • What you picked on the site: items in the cart, calculator settings (number of panels and batteries, whether you need installation, from stock or to order), the type of property and a promo code, if you entered one.
  • Where you came from: UTM tags from the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content), the page you landed on and the site you came from. This tells us which link brought you to the request.
  • The moment you pressed “Send”: it is the record of your consent.

The forms do not collect a full address (street, building). If delivery or installation needs one, a manager will ask you by phone.

There is no online payment on the site, so we hold no payment data at all. The site does not accept photos or files from visitors.

03Why we need it

We use the data to:

  • call you back and answer your questions;
  • choose and price an equipment kit;
  • place and fulfil an order, and agree on delivery and installation;
  • see which links bring requests, and improve the site.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for anything outside this list.

The grounds under Article 11 of the Law are your consent (the “Send” button under the form is the consent) and preparing the purchase agreement you want to make.

04Who we pass data to

Only to those without whom the order cannot be fulfilled, and to the services the site runs on.

To fulfil the order:

  • The supplier Sunfix ([ВПИШИ: full legal name of the supplier]) ships the equipment from its warehouse, so it receives your name, phone number and delivery address.
  • Nova Poshta carries the parcel, so it needs the recipient’s name, phone number and address or branch.
  • Installation partners, if you ordered installation, receive your phone number and the address of the property to agree on a visit.

To get requests delivered and keep the site running:

  • Telegram is the seller’s work chat. A notice about a new request lands there: number, type, name, phone, city, chosen items or calculation, promo code and the page you came from. The text of your comment does not go into the notice.
  • Vercel hosts the site, Render runs the server that receives requests, and Neon is the database where they are stored.
  • Google Fonts and unpkg: the home page loads fonts and helper libraries from them. Like any website, they see your IP address and browser details, but they do not receive your requests.

Telegram, Vercel, Render and Neon are international services, and their servers may be outside Ukraine. We give data to public authorities only when the law requires it.

Passing data on does not make us less responsible. Your seller is [ВПИШИ: full legal name of the seller company or sole trader]. The supplier, the carrier and the installers do part of the work, but the seller answers to you for the order and for your data. If something goes wrong, come to us, not to the supplier.

05What stays in your browser

The site sets no cookies for visitors. It uses browser memory:

  • The cart (items and the “installation needed” mark) on product pages sits in the browser’s local storage, so it does not vanish if you close the tab. On the home page the cart lives only while the page is open.
  • A mark that the intro animation has already been shown is kept in local storage too, so we do not replay it every time.
  • UTM tags and the page you came from sit in session storage until you close the tab. If you send a request, they go along with it.
  • Small helper marks between pages (for example, that you wanted to ask about an order) live until you close the tab.

You can wipe all of this in your browser settings (“Clear site data”). The cart will be empty and the intro will play again; nothing else will happen.

The login cookie exists only in the staff area. Visitors do not get it.

06How long we keep it

  • Requests: one year from the day they arrive, then we delete them. A request can be deleted sooner if you ask.
  • Browser marks: until you close the tab or clear them yourself.
  • Work contacts of companies from the call list: [ВПИШИ: retention period of the call list]. More in the section about them below.

Technical logs of Vercel, Render, Neon and Telegram follow the rules of those services.

07How we protect it

Requests are stored in a closed database. Only the seller’s staff have access: they sign in to the staff area with a personal password, and their actions are written to a change log.

To filter out spam, the server counts how many requests come from one IP address per minute. The counter lives in the server’s memory and never reaches the database.

08Your rights

Article 8 of the Law gives you, among other things, the right to:

  • know which of your data we process, where it came from, what for, and who we pass it to;
  • get an answer on whether we process your data and see its content, no later than thirty calendar days after your request;
  • demand that data be corrected or destroyed if it is inaccurate or processed unlawfully;
  • object to the processing;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or to a court.

To use a right, write or call us. Give the name and phone number from your request so we can find your record. We will reply within thirty calendar days.

09Work contacts of companies (call list)

Besides people who contact us themselves, we phone companies that may need our equipment: shops, offices, factories. For that we keep a separate table, not mixed with requests. We are interested in the work contacts of companies, not in people’s private numbers.

What it holds:

  • the company name and its work phone;
  • the name of a contact person, if known, and the city;
  • line of business, our notes, dates and outcomes of calls;
  • the source we took the contact from.

Where we get it from: [ВПИШИ: sources of the call list — for example public registers, company websites, a partner’s database].

Why: to offer the company equipment and help choose a solution. We do not sell these contacts and do not pass them to other companies. How long we keep them: [ВПИШИ: retention period of the call list].

How to opt out: tell us during the call that we should not phone you, or write to us at the contacts below. We will either keep only the number with a “refused” mark so we do not call again by mistake, or delete the record completely if you want that.

10Changes to this policy

If we change what we do with data, we will update this text and the version date at the top of the page.

11Contacts

For any question about your data, write or call:
